Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Arumporul Heritage Platform (www.arumporul.in / platform). These terms govern your access, use of digital exploration passes, AR heritage features, and voluntary contributions toward heritage temple restoration.
01. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or utilizing any part of the Arumporul platform, including our web portal, Augmented Reality (AR) viewer, 3D monument reconstructions, Uzhavarappani community coordination features, and online contribution facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our services.
02. Platform Scope & Purpose
Arumporul is a pre-incubated cultural heritage technology initiative dedicated to safeguarding, digitally documenting, and promoting the architectural and cultural marvels of Tamil Nadu.
- Digital Heritage Exploration: Providing interactive 3D WebXR models, architectural analysis, epigraphical records, and historical context.
- Ruin Spotting & Documentation: Facilitating citizen reports of crumbling or endangered archaeological structures.
- Uzhavarappani & Restoration Micro-Contributions: Enabling users to voluntarily sponsor restoration equipment, materials, and community volunteer drives.
03. User Accounts & Security
To access certain features like community reporting, volunteer coordination, or donor receipts, users may register an account.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and reporting.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that transmit malicious code, submit fraudulent heritage damage reports, or violate community conduct guidelines.
04. Payments, Gateway Integration & Pricing
All payment transactions on Arumporul are processed securely through our authorized payment partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited.
Payment Security: Arumporul does not store or process debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, net-banking passwords, or UPI MPINs. All sensitive payment data is captured directly by Razorpay under strict PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
Currency & Taxes: All contributions, digital pass fees, and sponsorships are quoted and billed in Indian National Rupees (INR ₹) inclusive of all applicable statutory taxes.
Nature of Payment: Contributions made through the platform are directed specifically toward endangered temple restoration materials (lime mortar, stone scaffolding, vegetation clearance) and heritage documentation. Contributions do not represent commercial equity, financial securities, or legal ownership of monument sites.
05. Cancellation & Refund Policy Summary
We uphold transparency in all transactions. If you experience an accidental double-debit or unauthorized transaction:
Eligible refund requests received within 7 days of payment will be verified and credited back to the original payment source within 5 to 7 business days via Razorpay.

06. Digital Fulfillment & No Physical Shipping
Arumporul delivers services, interactive 3D assets, progress trackers, and contribution certificates purely via electronic digital delivery. We do not sell or ship physical commodities. For complete details, see our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
07. Intellectual Property Rights
All proprietary software code, 3D photogrammetric renders, AI restoration algorithms, visual designs, brand assets, and textual content developed by Arumporul are protected by Indian copyright and intellectual property laws. Heritage inscriptions and temple architecture remain the timeless public legacy of Tamil civilization.
08. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
